“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him”.

– Siddhārtha Gautama

What do I write about?…

Anything and everything that interests me…

Most articles range from fleeting, last minute thoughts about daily life to challenging, thought-provoking opinions about our modern society’s lack of progressive direction…

Feel free to tell me what you think, I’d love to hear from you.

Challenge the norm.

Peace.

Hi. I stumbled upon this website randomly and would like to take this opportunity to briefly escape the mundane movements of everyday life, particularly where 9-5, white collar employment happens to be my current & misfortunate place/zone of residence. I’m just deathly tired of the usual ‘Ugh sorry, it’s Monday morning, I’ve forgotten everything ever blah blah’ & ‘What did you get up to on the weekend?’
As much as I’d enjoy sharing that information regarding my exotic weekend, do these mindless office drones even care? Are they speaking in rhetoric? Am I being judgemental? Regardless! This is based on evidence, in that when I do get started on my story I’m positive that their faces start to melt. Maybe I’m just not a very interesting individual. Maybe I eat too much spicy food. Also, I recently visited a zoo close to where I live, and I was more than excited about seeing the fabled Capercaillie, only to be met by bitter disappointment: the pen was empty. All I could do was stare hopelessly at the picture of the bird and the slap-in-the-face description (which ironically goes into detail about how rare the bird is) next to it. I must conclude, I felt empty, lost & grey. It was like buying an empty box of plums. Have a nice day everyone. X
